Evasive Maneuvers

I don’t have an iPhone, and even if I did, I doubt I’d drop a buck on this app. Regardless, this video is awesome.

The World’s Largest Gummi Bear – Does anyone else think that this is disgusting?

Have a song stuck in your head, but you don’t know who sings it? Midomi is a musical search engine that allows you to use your voice to sing/hum a song, and apparently it’s pretty accurate. Cool idea. I wonder how much death metal it can find?

I’ve never heard of Moldover before, but the CD case that his new album comes in is awesome. It’s cool to see artists/bands providing some sort of incentive for consumers to actually go out and purchase their album, instead of just downloading it for free.

I’m catching a flight (with a friend) to California at 4:30 today. It’ll be my first time there… First time that far West, period. I have several friends who have moved to different parts of the state over the past few years, so it should be a good time. We’ll be spending some time in LA, then heading to San Diego, then Santa Barbara, Big Sur, and most likely some other things thrown in for good measure. Really wanted to check out San Francisco and Yosemite, but we’d really be spreading ourselves too thin, as our return flight to Philly is on the 9th. Anyway, should be a good time. Have a great Labor Day.

Cool, I just returned from LA (also my first time in the west coast). If you got time, check out Vegas too, it’s only 3-4 hours away.
